All the way through Millers of Speyside, our dedicated and hard-working team pride themselves on our high standards of food safety and the internal culture we promote that puts looking after our workspace and our stock as an utmost priority to ensure we supply the best quality of produce possible to our many suppliers. From top to bottom, everyone within Millers of Speyside knows how important a role they have to play in taking great care in their day-to-day jobs to ensure we are operating at the highest food safety standards possible.
That is why we are extremely proud, and absolutely delighted, to share that the team at Millers of Speyside have retained their “A” Grade status with the BRCGS as well as receiving our Red Tractor certification. A market-leading global brand that aims to help build confidence in the supply chain, BRCGS were founded by retailers who sought to harmonise food safety standards across the whole supply chain. Their rigorous schemes and highly trained auditors ensure their standards offer the best results possible across a high benchmark for food safety, packaging materials, storage & distribution, and consumer products among other factors.
Meanwhile, the Red Tractor certification is the largest food assurance scheme in the whole of the UK, ensuring that food is traceable, safe to eat, and has been produced responsible, covering animal welfare, food safety, traceability and environmental protection – all factors we care deeply about at Millers. Meeting the high standards of both organisations for our manufacturing practice helps us ensure our customers that our products are safe, legal, and of high quality.
For everyone here at Millers to be recognised for their hard work ensuring our high stands are consistently upheld is a fantastic achievement to be proud of, and we would like to thank the whole team for their efforts. Long may it continue!
